The tea comes from the mountain province of Yunnan in China, located on the border with Vietnam, Burma and Laos, and the tea bushes growing in this region are characterized by wide and fleshy leaves with a glossy surface. About 200 local types of teas can be found in the province, many of which are considered to be one of the noblest types of classic tea in the world. Golden Yunnan owes its name to a large number of golden "tips", thanks to which the dried fruit has an unusual golden-amber shade. The resulting infusion is strong and aromatic, and the dry taste is appreciated by gourmets.
