The rustic appearance of the leaves of this Sencha indicates that they were not harvested until autumn. In tandem with the appearance, it is also known for its characteristic aftertaste, which stays in the mouth for a long time after drinking. After brewing, it releases mature, sweet and crisp, with a slightly fruity aroma, peach or apricot aftertaste. Miyazaki Prefecture is the fourth largest tea-producing region in Japan.
